Start Smart Learn To Play Hockey
Start Smart is a basic skills, learn to play hockey program for kids ages 5-12. This extensive 24 week class will teach your child the basic skills required to play in a recreational hockey league. This is a required program prior to playing in Salt Lake County Youth Hockey.
Prior skating experience is required before beginning Start Smart. Skaters should be able to pass BASIC 3 in the USFSA Learn-to-Skate Program. Children still in the "marching" phase of skating need to be in skating lessons.
