Stephanee Grosscup

Stephanee has been teaching skaters as a primary and supplementary coach for World, Olympic, National, Sectional, Regional and Jr. National competitors since 1979. She is a U.S.F.S.A. Gold Medallist, U.S.Open Professional Champion, a principal skater in over 20 professional ice skating productions, 22 years as a soloist in the Sun Valley Ice Show and has had 25 years of experience in Dance, Choreography and Directing. She was honored to be on the Choreography Team for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Stephanee has worked with World, Olympic and Professional Champions such as Elizabeth Manley, Oksana Grischuk/Evegeny Platov, Craig Heath and has choreographed many pieces for 8x British Champion, Steven Cousins. (Including his 1998 Olympic long and short programs.) Stephanee was the Director of Skating at the SLC Sports Complex from it’s inception (Feb. 2001) to January of 2004. She Directed and co-created with SL County the Competitive Freestyle Program, the Learn to Skate Program, the Summer Skating School and various other aspects of the Figure Skating Program. With 25 years of performance experience, Stephanee’s knowledge brings out the best in every skater she works with.
