Anndrea DeBirk
Anndrea spent the majority of her formative years on the ice as a competitive figure skater. Since completing her U.S.F.S.A. double Gold Medal in freestyle and moves in the field she has
passionately pursued skating as a performing art. Her lyrical balletic style has led her to perform in a variety of professional skating productions including the Sun Valley Ice Show. Since 2003 she has trained and performed as a principle skater with the Seattle Ice Theatre. In addition to her technical training, Ms. DeBirk also studied movement and dance. This background has grounded her philosophy that “aesthetic presentation, athleticism, and gravity defiance lend skating a unique edge in the world of performing arts.” Anndrea graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in anthropology from the University of Utah and has enthusiastically taught skating for seven years.
Anndrea welcomes all ages and abilities for private skating lessons, group instruction, and competitive coaching. She specializes in teaching choreography, moves in the field, jumps, spins, off-ice training, and ice theatre.
