Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Group Fitness classes are included in the DELUXE and PLATINUM passes, excluding jazzercise®. 

Body Blitz:  Make the most of your time in this challenging, total body sculpting circuit class comptressed into 50 minutes.

Core Combo Conditioning:  Develop core strength and muscle balance through dynamic and static movements that target the body’s center of power that starts just below your shoulders and ends just below your hips.  You work to gain strength in the muscles that control your trunk and spine while improving balance, agility and flexibility.

jazzercise®:  When you love your workout, results come easy.  jazzercise®  blends aerobics, yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing movements into a fun dance routine. (jazzercise®  pass required.) www.jazzercise.com

Muscle Works:  This class focuses on all major muscle groups.  Come in for 55 minutes and blend total body strength training with short cardio intervals, balance and flexibility exercises.  We use fit-balls, free weights, and other exercise equipment.  All fitness levels welcome.

Pilates Mat Class: Based on the work of Joseph Pilates this class improves flexibility and strength through core training.  Focus includes concentration, control, breathing, and balance.  Designed for all fitness levels.  Beginners welcome.  (For the 30 minute class, warm up beforehand if possible.)

Sally’s Step and Sculpt: Step to the beat! Workout with personal trainer, Sally Pfeiffer and get a total body workout in 50 minutes.  Techniques to strengthen, lengthen and tone muscles + core and cardio training.

Spinning®: We welcome participants of all fitness levels and abilities.  Please read the Spinning Rules of the Road before class.  Summary:  16 years or older, bring two small water bottles and a hand towel, class closed after 5 min., inform instructor of special needs or if this is the first time you have experienced Spinning.

Sturdy and Supple Seniors:  Strength and endurance is the spotlight of this class.  Geared for seniors, everyone is welcome.  A combo of cardio, light weights, Dynabands and Fitballs.  Flexibility and functional fitness is the focus.  Flow with the fun with ab-work included.

30-30:  30 minutes of Core Fusion for strength and 30 minutes of deep stretching.

Yoga:  This class is a moving, flowing form of Yoga.  The instructors use traditional, and some non-traditional yoga poses to work the entire body.  Physical benefits include increased strength, stamina, balance and flexibility.  Yoga is for everyone, any age, and any size, shape or fitness level.  There are modifications to suit the beginner or to challenge the experienced Yogi.  All classes end with a relaxation phase designed to leave you with a sense of peace and well-being.
