A beautiful, large regional park with many amenities, including 7 reservable terraces, 2 playgrounds, a pond and creek, trees and open spaces. The park is managed by the Sugar House Park Authority. Visit: www.sugarhousepark.org.

  • Pavilion (Reservable) - 7 covered terraces, each with at least 2 BBQ grills, lighting and electrical outlets. Terrace Reservations.
  • Playground - 2 in the park. The larger is located in the main part of the park between Central Terrace and Lake Terrace. The smaller is located near Southeast Terrace.
  • Volleyball - Each terrace has a concrete court. The Lake, Northwest and Central Terraces have oversized, 50'x70' courts. Volleyball equipment may be rented from our office.
  • Tennis - (none)
  • Basketball Courts - Near Southeast Terrace, lighted area with 6 hoops
  • Baseball/Softball Fields - Highland High's baseball field is located just west of the East Hill Terrace. It may be reserved or used for recreational purposes on a drop-in basis.
  • Horseshoe Courts - 4 sand and grass pits located at Southeast Terrace and 4 lighted sand and grass pits at Northeast Terrace.
