Coaches Certification Program
The Coaches Certification Program is available to educate coaches on the expectations of Salt Lake County. The reason and goals for this certification program is for children safety, developing coaching skills, teaching good sportsmanship, and Making sure that all coaches receive the same information.
Once you have read through the Coaches Certification Presentation you will need to print and fill out the Coaches Certification Test. Once completed return the test to the front desk here at Marv Jenson Fitness and Recreation Center. Your test will be scored and if you pass you will be issued a Coaches Certification Card.
Coaches Certification Presentation
Rules and Regulation for the Coaches Certification Card:
1) Only Head Coaches receive the $25 discount.
2) Certification Card is good for two years.
3) Coaches must present certification card at the time of registration for the $25 discount. Coaches completing the program after registering their child will have to wait to use the certification discount the next time they sign up to coach.
4) Good at any Salt Lake County facility, for youth sports leagues only.
5) Discounts offered with Coaches Cert cannot be combined with any other discounts or fee waivers. (i.e. Reduced or Free Lunch)
6) Certification privileges may be canceled at the discretion of the facility at any time for any reason.
