Life Guard Training

Please call the Magna and Fitness Recreation Center for information to find out when the next Life Guard Training will be held. This is a great way to make certain you get a great summer job at our pool!

Splash and Swim

Bring the entire family to the outdoor pool. The pool has a zero-edge for toddlers, fun slides as well as diving boards. A new splash pad is adjacent to the pool and fun for all children!

Pool Rentals

The pool is available to rent out for group activities, parties, reunions or other fun events.

Splash Pad

You will enjoy the added fun of the splash pad adjacent to the pool. Developmentally appropriate toys create fun and excitement for all children and most adults!

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons for every level are offered throughout the summer. Swim lesson registration begins early in May and will be held at the Magna Fitness and Recreation Center.

Swim Team

A recreational swim team is available for those who want to improve their swimming skills and have a little competition along the way.

Water Aerobics

Water aerobics classes will be offered this year. A summer water aerobics pass is required to attend. Purchase your summer water aerobics pass before June 1, 2012.

Cryptosporidiosis: Caused by a parasite in an infected person's stool, its symptoms often include stomach cramps or diarrhea. It can be transmitted through contact with contaminated pools, streams or lakes.

To prevent crypto: 

  • Do not swallow the pool water.
  • Take a cleansing shower before swimming.
  • Wash your hands with soap after using the restroom.
  • Wash your hands with soap after changing diapers.
  • Change diapers in the restroom, not poolside.
  • Make frequent bathroom stops and check diapers often.
  • If you experience diarrhea, do not swim for 2 weeks after it stops.
