Jr. Jazz Youth BasketballJr Jazz Youth Basketball

Jr. Jazz Youth Basketball is one of our most popular programs. These recreation basketball leagues are designed to help our youth learn and improve their basketball skills in a fun, comfortable environment.  Instructional leagues for Kindergarten through 2nd grade focus on the basics in a non-competitive format. Recreation leagues for 3rd through 8th grade boys and girls and the 9th-12th grade senior girls league will help build on the basics and allow players to improve their skills. Leagues are played on Saturdays at local gymnasiums beginning December 5, 2009. Sign up today and reserve your spot!

Downstairs DancingNew Youth Dance Classes. Downstairs Dancing is our new youth dance program with classes taught on Mondays and Tuesdays. Instructors Alisa and Robin Harman come with years of experience in dance and dance instruction. Click the link above for more information on this exciting new program.

 

Karate & Self-Defense

Come increase your confidence, awarenKarate Classesess and fitness as you learn to defend yourself. American Kenpo Karate involves kicks, punches, throws and grappling with some light contact sparring. Students will also learn forms and katas for belt advancement. Youth and adult classes are taught on Mondays and Saturdays.

 

Art Classes

The Art Program is for all youth Art Classages 5 to 12 with classes held on Tuesday evenings. Experienced instructors Rachel Eames and Sabra Thomason both have art degrees and several years of experience in teaching elementary art. Students will be learning the elements and principles of art through different techniques and media to learn basic drawing and painting skills.

 

KindermusikKindermusik

Kindermusik with Valerie is a music and movement program designed to help foster a child's love of music through fun age-appropriate activities. Come join the fun on Thursday nights.

 

 

Child Care  

Our State-licensed Child Care programs run year-round are we now have openings for your child.

 

We complete thorough background checks on all teachers and volunteers. Teachers receive a minimum of 20 hours of annual training to update their skills and improve their interaction with your children. We provide meals and snacks through a regulated and nationally recognized food program. Registrations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis and waiting lists are taken to fill vacancies that become available.

  Now Hiring

We are now hiring for the following positions:

 

  • Day Care Staff & Drivers - we are currently in need of drivers for morning, mid-day and afternoon school runs. Drivers must be 21 years old and have a valid driver's license. Other positions include child care teachers and kitchen staff. These are great jobs with flexible hours Monday through Friday and you have your weekends free. Counselors must be at least 16 years old. We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals to work directly with the children supervising them in both structured, planned activities and during supervised free-time play. Come work in a fun, exciting atmosphere.

  • Sports Staff - must be 14 years old. We are looking for dependable individuals to work part-time as site supervisors and officials/referees for our upcoming youth sports programs. Games run on both weekday evenings and on Saturdays. We will provide all training although some knowledge of the sport is helpful.
