Fall Youth Sports
We are now taking registrations for our Fall Youth Sports including Outdoor Soccer, Tee Ball / Coach Pitch Baseball and Flag Football. Spots are filling up fast so register today! You can register in person at our Center on on-line at activityreg.com (additional $2 fee to register on-line).
Child Care
Registrations for our full-time and off-track Child Care is underway and will continue until all spots are full (which usually doesn't take long - so don't wait). We offer Pre-School, Kindergarten, Before/After School and Off-Track care. Please contact Terrie or Monica at 967-4404 for more information.
Halloween Carnival
Our annual Halloween Carnival will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Kearns
Oquirrh Park Fitness Center. We have a spook alley, carnival-type games, and refreshments for children of all ages. We invite you to join us for this fun community event.
Fitwell Fair
Salt Lake County Recreation is sponsoring the 4th Annual Fitwell Fair to be held Friday, October 3, 2008 at the County Government Complex (South Building Atrium) from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Come learn about recreational activities, fitness programs and healthy living. A variety of informational booths will be available for you to browse. Click on the link below for the flier.
Food Drive
We sponsor a holiday food drive in December to collect food for needy families in the Kearns area. An easy way to donate is to bring non-perishable canned food items with you when you come to our Halloween Carnival. Donations can also be dropped
off throughout the holidays at both the Kearns Recreation Center and the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center. Thank you for helping those in need in your community!
Easter Egg Hunt
Our annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday, March 22 at 9:00 am on the Kearns High School football field. We had a great turnout and we hope everyone had a great time as the weather cooperated this year! We again thank our sponsors - the Kearns Recreation Advisory Board, Kearns Recreation Center, A-Core Concrete, the Kearns Community Council and the Oquirrh Park Fitness Center.
