The Summer Art Camp is for all youth ages 5 and up with classes beginning the week of July 7, 2009. Taught by experienced instructors Rachel Eames and Sabra Thomason, students will learn the elements and principles of art. Students will draw and paint using different techniques and media to learn skills. New Youth Dance Classes. Downstairs Dancing is our new youth dance program with classes taught on Mondays and Tuesdays. Instructors Alisa and Robin Harman come with years of experience in dance and dance instruction. American Kenpo Karate involves kicks, punches, throws and grappling with some light contact sparring. Students will also learn forms and katas for belt advancement. Sports Staff - must be 14 years old. We are looking for dependable individuals to work part-time as site supervisors and officials for our upcoming sports programs including Indoor Soccer, and Jr. Jazz Basketball. Games run on both weekday evenings and on Saturdays. We will provide all training although some knowledge of the sport is helpful.
