NOW HIRING PART-TIME STAFF 

 

We are now hiring the following part-time positions:

  • Summer Day Camp Staff - we are now accepting applications for summer day camp staff. This is a great summer job with hours Monday through Friday and you have your weekends free. Drivers must be 21 years old and have a current drivers license. Camp counselors must be 16 years old. We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals to work directly with the children supervising them in both structured, planned activities and during supervised free-time play. Come work in a fun, exciting atmosphere.
  •  Sports Staff - must be 14 years old. We are looking for dependable individuals to work as site supervisors and officials for our upcoming sports programs including Track & Field, Outdoor Soccer and Teeball / Coach Pitch baseball. Games run on both weekday evenings and on Saturdays. We will provide all training although some knowledge of the sport is helpful.

  Summer Youth Sports

xxWe offer several sports programs for the upcoming summer season. Come check out the fun!

 

Our Track & Field Club will begin June 10, 2008. Practices are held at the Kearns High School track on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

 

Youth Tee Ball and Coach Pitch Baseball Summer leagues will begin June 24. All youth ages 3 to 8 years old will enjoy this relaxed recreation baseball program with an emphasis on fun and sportsmanship.

 

Youth Outdoor Soccer is our most popular program. Register early to reserve your spot! Leagues for all youth from 3 years old to 9th grade will begin in mid-April.

 

Jr. Golf Clinics are taught by the professionals at Meadowbrook Golf Course. Players will learn the basics so they feel comfortable on the golf course.

 

Summer Day Camp   

Registrations for our Summer Day Camps are underway and will continue until all spots are full (which usually doesn't take long - so don't wait). Please contact Terrie or Monica at 967-4404 for more information.

  Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg HuntOur annual Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday, March 22 at 9:00 am on the Kearns High School football field. We had a great turnout and we hope everyone had a great time as the weather cooperated this year! We again thank our sponsors - the Kearns Recreation Advisory Board, Kearns Recreation Center, A-Core Concrete, the Kearns Community Council and the Oquirrh Park Fitness KOPFCCenter.
