Aquatics Classes

Lifeguard Training
Class: Pre-test: August 3, 2009 @ 12:00 PM

This course will run Monday - Friday, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

for two weeks starting August 3, 2009

Must be 15 years old by the last class, swim 500 yards (200 free, 100 breast, 200 either free or breast), and able to retrieve a 10 pound brick from deep end of the pool and swim to the other end of the pool with the brick.
Includes: Lifeguarding, CPR, and 1st aid certifications, all books and materials.
Cost: $155.00

Water Safety Instructor Course

Class taught Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Saturdays at 11:00 am - 5:00 PM April 13 - April 30, 2009 Prerequisites: Must be 16 years old before the last day of class, be able to 25 yds of back crawl, front crawl, breaststroke, elementary backstroke, sidestroke and 15 yards of butterfly stroke, one minute back float in deep water and one minute of treading water. 100% class attendance is required to pass. Cost: $165.00

Swimming Merit Badge for Boy Scouts
Prerequisite: Must be able to swim 100 yards continuously. Must have 1st and 2nd swim requirements before taking this class. Class must have 4 participants to run.

Cost: $10.00 per participant

Life Saving Merit Badge
Prerequisites: Must have the swimming merit badge. Must be able to swim 400 yards continuously, Class must have 4 participants to run.
