NEW
We now have our UV system up and running!
What does this mean for you? It means no cryptosporidium. We have had a pretty good track record with not having infectious diseases in our pools, but with our new Ultraviolet lighting system, outbreaks are a thing of the past. UV kills 99.9% of all bacteria by blasting it with high energy ultraviolet lights. UV is the same type of lamps that are used in tanning beds and can give you sun burns, but the lamps we use in our pools are much stronger – they have the intensity of an arc welder. Our UV lamps are located in the pipes just after the filters so none of the light is actually in the pool. UV provides cleaner, clearer water with slightly less chlorine. This all equates to a much nicer swimming experience.
