NEW CHANGES East Millcreek Recreation Center Patrons, As most of you have heard by now, East Millcreek Recreation Center is going to be torn down and a beautiful new facility will be going back up at the same location. As a result of this development, we will be moving most of our programming to a new location, the Millcreek Activity Center located at 4405 South 1025 East. The move will be tentatively August 1, 2009. The Millcreek Activity Center will be the new home of our childcare program. We will also continue to administrate all of our youth sports programs out of the Millcreek Activity Center. Please make payments for any of our programs at the new location beginning August 1, 2009. You will still have the option of signing up online as well. www.recreation.slco.org/eastmillcreek The East Millcreek Recreation Center Gymnasium will continue to be used for our adult basketball program on Monday through Thursday nights August 1 through October 15, 2009. Because of this, we will be able to open our Fitness Room for the following hours August 1 through October 15, 2009: Monday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and 5:30pm – 9:00pm Tuesday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and 5:30pm – 9:00pm Wednesday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and 5:30pm – 9:00pm Thursday 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and 5:30pm – 9:00pm *These will be the only available times for Fitness Room* Unfortunately, the new Millcreek Activity Center does not have a Gymnasium or Fitness Room. We are sad to see the existing facility go down, but are excited about the reality of a new, state of the art facility being built in its place. We look forward to continuing to serve all residents of the Millcreek area out of the East Millcreek Recreation Center until tentatively July 31st and at Holladay Lions Fitness and Recreation Center and the new Millcreek Activity Center after that date.
