Basic Rock Climbing
Ages 8 to adult; instruction on correct fit of harness and climbing shoes, proper use of feet, legs, hands and arms for climbing, proper body movement and position for climbing.
Karate
For ages 3-Adult; beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of Karate instruction. Kenpo Style Karate will be taught with a focus on developing self-confidence and self-control.
Dance
Spirit Dance and Cheer: Ages 3-18, Jazz, drill, cheerleading
Royal Ballet: Beginning to Intermediate Ballet
Music and Movement: A Parent-Child interactive experience for parents and their children.
Gymnastics
Mini-Martians (Beg. 3-6 year olds): Gain Coordination, flexibility, strength & spatial awareness
Shooting Stars (Feb. ages 7 and up): Develop strength, coordination, balance, and flexibility.
Comets (intermediate ages 8 and up): More focus on gymnastics elements, working towards advanced gymnastics skills.
Fencing
Ages 8 – adult; fencing classes are taught by professional fencing instructor Sergei Gritsaev.
Art
After school and off-track classes taught by Nancy, who is a very successful instructor and has been at Dimple Dell for over 3 years. She is a registered Art Therapist and instructor & has a B.A. in Studio Art.
Chess
Ages 5 – adult; chess helps develop patience, confidence, and analytical & critical thinking skills. Chess has been proven to increase IQ and improve standardization test scores in math & reading. Instructor Vanel Sanchez is certified with the Utah Chess Academy.
Preschool Sports
4-week mini-camps for 3 - 5 year olds! A different sport each month! Each 45 minute session includes skill drills, fitness conditioning, fun games and teamwork activities.
Babysitter Training
NEW American Red Cross course designed for anyone ages 11 and up who want to become a professional babysitter. In this class, you will be taught valuable first aid and lifesaving skills that can help you become a better babysitter. Upon successful completion of the class, you can become eligible to be certified in child and infant CPR. This is a great way to increase your earning potential
Dog First Aid
Come learn how to care for your dog in case of an emergency. Learn pet CPR and first aid skills that could save their life! Please leave your dogs at home. One will be provided to practice on!
CPR For the Home and Workplace
If you need CPR certification for work, then this class is for you. This is also an invaluable class for parents, as the information gained can help you save a life! This class does include infant and child cpr.
Super Seekers
We’ll take fun field trips to: Hogle Zoo, Clark Planetarium, Discovery Gateway, Kennecott Copper Mine, Cabela's, Sweets Candy Company, Snowbird Ski Resort, Wheeler Historic Farm, Salt Lake County Swimming Pools, local Police and Fire Stations, and much more!
Arts and Games in the Park
An organized program full of activities including: Insect Week, Animal Week, Sun Week, Pioneer Week, Creative Week, Sport Week, and other fun and exciting weeks waiting for you.
