Red Cross Lifeguarding Classes
March 15- March 31, 2010

Classes will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:00pm- 9:30pm.
April 26- May 14, 2010

Classes will be held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:00- 9:00pm
June 7- June 12, 2010

Classes will be held from 9:00 am- 3:00pm Mon.- Sat.

Classes will be at the Draper Outdoor Pool (657 Vestry Rd)
All courses include CPR for the professional rescuer, AED, first aid, and lifeguarding.
Participants need to attend every class session in order to pass. Make-ups days will not be accepted.
Cost:
- $10.00 non-refundable deposit to save spot
- $155.00 w/o county contract
- $55.00 w/ county contract
- Cost of the course includes instruction, certifications (if earned), textbook, and resuscitation mask
Certification: The certification process consists of two different parts;
- Three multiple choice tests
- A final CPR practical exam
and three final in-water skills tests.
To receive certification, students must pass the multiple choice tests with 80% or higher and must pass the practical tests with 100%.
* Dimple Dell Fitness and Recreation Center hires only lifeguards that are 16 or older, but we do certify those 15 and older.
