NEW Pool Guidelines
• If a child age 5 and under is swimming, A PARENT OR CHAPERONE AGE 14 OR OLDER MUST BE IN THE WATER AND WITHIN ARM'S REACH OF THE CHILD AT ALL TIMES. This rule applies even if the child is wearing a lifejacket.
NO EXCEPTIONS. A copy of this rule may be found at the front desk and is posted inside the facility. This policy is county-wide and is non-negotiable even if your child 5-and-under can already swim unassisted. These rules are enforced for the safety of the patrons and to keep swimming related incidents to a minimum. Guests who do not abide by this safety policy may be asked to leave WITHOUT a refund.
• Select persons required to wear waterproof pants:
Any child under three years old, any child not toilet trained, and anyone who lacks control of defecation shall wear a water resistant swim diaper and waterproof swimwear. Swim diapers and waterproof swimwear shall have waist and leg openings fitted such that they are in contact with the waist or leg around the entire circumference.
• All swimmers must take a cleansing shower before entering any swimming water:
"Cleansing shower" means the cleaning of the entire body surfaces with soap and water to remove any matter, including fecal matter, that may wash off into the pool while swimming.
• Exclude persons with current or recent diarrhea:
A person who has or has had diarrhea within the last two weeks caused by an unknown source or from any communicable or fecal-borne disease may not enter any public pool.
