1. Skate at your own risk. This park is a non-supervised facility.
2. Skateboarding and skating are hazardous recreational activities. Use of this facility may result in death, paralysis, brain damage, concussion, broken bones or other serious injury. Any use is at your own risk. Salt Lake County and Midvale City do not assume any responsibility for injuries.
3. The use of protective equipment, including helmets, knee and elbow pads and wrist guards is strongly recommended.
4. This is your skate park, Please take care of it. tagging, graffiti or abuse is not permitted.
5. Be Respectful of other park users: moderate your language and keep music volume low.
6. Use trash containers provided, alcohol, tobacco products, drugs and glass containers are not allowed.
7. Do not use when the surface is wet.
8. No motorized vehicles or bikes allowed.
9. Non motorized scooters are allowed in the skate park
1.The size of the park is not big enough for bike and skateboards at the same time. Bikes need a longer run out.?
2.The DA’s office approved skateboards and roller blades when we were crating the rules. Bike is not somewhere they wanted to go, yet. We are now allowing razor scooters in the park which they did not have an issue with.
a.This is the first SL County skate park, we are the genie pigs to see what will work best.
3.Talking to kids and adults who skate, bike and skates do not mix well in this park primarily due to its size.
4.The park was designed for beginner and intermediate skaters and roller bladders. Watching bikes out there, I can say many of them are not amateurs. Many have more skill and intimidate the people who are learning on skate boards and rollerblades, especially the younger kids.
we are looking for qualified soccer and flag football officials. Call and ask to speak to Heather or Chad. Or come to the front desk and fill out a application.

For youth sports that are offered County wide, Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation offers 'free and reduced lunch' rates. To receive this rate you must present a copyof the National School Lunch Program / Jordan School District Eligibility letter at the time of in person registration. If you do not know if you qualify, please speak to your child's school secretary or principal.
Scholarships are also available, but these are limited to three per calendar year. Medicare or Horizon card are needed as proof of eligibility at the time of in person registration.
Yes! Mail your completed registration form and check, made out to Salt Lake County to the address above. Please include your driver license number on the check. If you are requesting a reduced rate for a program, please come in or call and speak to the coordinator over the program.
