Youth Basketball

Instructional Jr. Jazz Basketball is for youth Kindergarten through 2nd grade. This league is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. 

 

Jr. Jazz Basketball is for all girls and boys 3rd through 8th grades. These recreation leagues build on the basics and allow players to improve their skills in a fun environment with the emphasis on sportsmanship. Separate girls and boys leagues by grade are offered.

 

The cost for these programs is $47 and includes 8 games team jersey, two Utah Jazz game tickets, a Utah Jazz player appearance, and a participation award. All games are played at local area gymnasiums or the Central City Gym on Saturdays beginning the first part of December.

Age: Kindergarten through 8th grade
When:

Games are played on Saturdays beginning early in December.
Saturday:

Anytime between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm depending on the number of teams in the league.
Where:

Games played at the Central City Gym, Kiwanis Felt Gym, or West High School.
Fee: $47 full price, $37 Reduced lunch fee,

Fee includes 8 sessions, team jersey, 2 Utah Jazz game tickets, Jazz Player Appearance, and participation award.
Registration:

Registration deadline is November 20, 2009.
